Hello my friends, Spot here!
Welcome to the fourth and final part of my review of 2012! I’ll be sharing some more cute kitten photos later on in this post! But first of all, let’s go back to October and share some memories of what happened then….
OCTOBER
In early October, daddy took some of my most favourite-ever photos of Lula – she looks like such a sweet girl I think π
But of course, we all know that looks can be deceptive and she has her naughty streak underneath all that innocence π
The nights were starting to get much cooler, so Lula and I went back to sleeping in our big dog bed that mummy and daddy had bought us back in January – it’s so warm and cosy when we cuddle up together in there π
We both went to a show in October – the Tabby Cat Club show. This was actually a bit of a milestone as it was the very first cat show mummy went to as an exhibitor just 12 short months earlier!
She had taken Lula there to see whether or not they would both enjoy it (I went to another one at end of October 2011 for the same reason and I won Best Kitten in Show!)
We had fantastic results at the 2012 show! Lula got her first Imperial Grand Premier certificate and Best of Breed. I got Reserve Grand Premier, Β my granddad Sabu beat me, but then I beat him to win Best of Breed!
My daddy had his camera just in the right place at the right time for this shot and managed to capture a great image of me chilling out on the squashy-down bit of the sofa π
Then, my mummy managed to get a close up of me having a wash and showing off all the rough bits of my tongue! π
October drew to a close and with it came Hallowe’en! Here I am trying to do my scary Hallowe’en roar! Are you frightened?
NOVEMBER
We still managed to spend time in our cat garden in November, even though winter was definitely on its way!
I love nibbling on all the different grasses daddy has planted for us! π
When the ground gets too wet or too cold with frost, we can sit on the roof of our cat house so our paws are kept dry and warm π
Daddy let Lula have a special treat! A supervised climb up the oak tree in the main garden – remember, this used to be her favourite tree when we had more freedom π
I went to the Cheshire Area Cat Club show in early November. I got a Reserve Grand certificate again, but the boy who beat me really is a lovely Bengal! But then, I managed to beat him, and two other boys, to win Best of Breed! Β This can happen because it’s a different judge judging the BoB than the certificates π
Despite it being November, Lula still managed to find bugs to chase and pounce on!
Meanwhile, I much prefer the nice weather, so when it’s cold there’s nothing better than my snuggly bed π
The biggest cat show in the cat show calendar took place in November – the Supreme!
Lula went to this one and here you can see her in her decorated pen which is something different to the usual shows we go to π
She did extremely well – she won her second Imperial Grand Premier certificate… you need five of these from different judges to earn the title, so it was good to get another under Lula’s belt π
Not long after the Supreme, my mummy and daddy went to our Breeder’s house to take some photos there.
This is our cat-mummy, Pandora, and her litter of four, these are our half-brothers and sisters as they have a different cat daddy π
Very cute I think π
There was also another litter that daddy took photos of, there are six in this litter, this stunning little girl is going to be kept by our breeder π You can also see two more kittens in the background π
DECEMBER
December came, and along with the rain, we also had quite a frosty spell! Guess where I was……?? π
As usual, Lula didn’t mind the weather and spent as much time as she could in our cat garden!
We went to our final show of the year – you may not be surprised to learn that Lula got her third Imperial Grand Premier certificate and Best of Breed, she is so clever π
I came first in my breed class, out of 4, but the judge didn’t award me my Grand Premier certificate as he said my “type” was very good, but that my fur was too long π
Once home again, the other cats, except Robbie, finally realised how great our squishy bed is!
Robbie decided that the new cat bed mummy and daddy had bought at the Supreme cat show was much more his thing! π
Of course, December means it’s Christmas time, and we loved playing and posing for photos! π
Lula even managed to get her face into my pic! π
*** I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas / holiday period! π ***
But all good things must come to an end, and as 2012 draws to a close, all that’s left for all of us Bengal Cat World cats to do is to wish you all a very HAPPY NEW YEAR! Yay! xxxxx
So that completes our review of our year! Please let me know if you have any questions, or if there are any of your favourite photos I have missed off! There are so many lovely pics, it really was very hard to choose the few to feature in these blog posts!
Take lots of care my friends, and I hope you all have a wonderful 2013!
Love from Spot xxxxx
I just love your updates and all the pictures. All the kitties and the hoomins are such lovely creatures! I find myself thinking about the squashy-down bits of my sofa now since you always describe yours that way. The girl kitten is lovely, maybe your future baby will look like that?! Happy New Year to all at BCW! Can’t wait to follow your adventures next year too!
Thank you, Carol! A lot of mummy & daddy’s sofas are squished down – it’s that Harry cat, he is quite a big chap! π If mummy and daddy do get a new kitten, she will look pretty similar to the girl I showed you as she will be from the same lines! Stunning markings, don’t you think? π Thank you for being such a great friend to us in 2012 – Happy New Year to you too! xx
Thank you again, Spot, for sharing these memories with us. I have enjoyed seeing your year. I don’t think that judge was very good as I think your fur is purr-fect! I hope you and all your family have a Happy New Year!
Thanks, Wilda! He is actually a very experienced judge, but I agree with you π I think he didn’t take into account I’ve grown my winter coat! It will be sleek and smooth again by the spring – a cat has got to stay warm, hasn’t he? Thank you for all your lovely feedback and Happy New Year to you too! xx
Spot, I am glad to have the review of the year. You and Lula have accomplished such a lot for two young cats in one year. God bless you and your family and everyone for 2013.
Love,
Paula, Bowzer & Zoe.
Thank you, Paula, Bowzer and Zoe! It is quite amazing to look back and see everything we’ve done – both good things and little naughty things π I wonder what 2013 has in store for all of us and all of our internet friends? Lots of good things I hope π Happy New Year to you and all your friends and family π xx
What a pawsome year it was for all at BCW. Spot and Lula: you accomplished some great things at your shows. I do do hope that 2013 will be an even better year for you at the shows! I am looking forward to Lula getting her Imperial Grand Premier certification — and you, too, Spot!! I think your fur is purr-fect also!! Hope all of BCW has a pawsome, blessed Mew Year with many great things to come — including the new bundle of joy!! The kittens are all so cute — SQUEEEEEE — head explode cuteness!! I will be working New Year’s Eve, but then, of course, my weekend comes up! Looking forward to all the new pics in the next year!! love, prayers, kitty kisses and head bonks from myself, my son Tyler and my 12 ornery, rotten kids, er, I mean kitties!! π
Thank you, Diane! I apologise as I think I called your son “Tyson” one time instead of Tyler? I am not sure why I did that π But I hope you, Tyler and all your beautiful kitties all have a wonderful New Year and that you enjoy your weekend! I look forward to sharing more photos and stories with you and all of my friends in 2013 π xxx

Hi Spot
Having been away in the USA for Christmas and New Year it was fabulous to come back and read all of your blogs. 2012 was certainly a very good year for you and Lula (and the other 3 beautiful cats who share your house with you) – apart from Lula causing you to have to be confined to your cat garden of course (naughty Lula!). π
I hope 2013 is an even better year for you all and that Mummy gets her new kitten so that we can see pictures and follow the adventures of the 6th member of your family, as well as the rest of you. Tell Daddy to keep up the excellent work on the fabulous photographs he takes and I look forward to following your progress.
Thank you again for your blogs, website and FB posts – it really is a joy to read them all and can always cheer me up – even when it’s a rotten day! π

Thank you very much for your lovely comments, Heather! I hope you had a lovely Christmas in the US! We have been off line for a little while as my mummy and daddy were in Costa Rice, but normal services should resume shortly! π xxxx
