On the waterfront

Hello my friends, Spot here!

I have been so busy lately, watching the Olympics on the TV… I can’t decide which is my favourite sport, there are so many to choose from! But on reflection I think things like football or tennis are very good – I have no idea of the rules, but it’s very exciting to chase the ball with my paws 🙂

We’ve also been having summer weather recently which has meant that we’ve had lots of opportunity to get outside and enjoy the garden without getting too wet!

One of our favourite haunts in the garden is around the fish pond, as you can see from these pics!

I can see a birdie on the other side of the pond – pah!!

I’ll just sit over here…

Our Harry cat doesn’t like the pond much, but we couldn’t leave him out! 🙂

Speak soon!
Love from Spot xx

  1. Hi Spot

Lula looks very smart in her harness but I bet she’d prefer to be able to run free in the field again. It’s such a shame that she decided to be the interpid explorer and ventured too far afield for her own safety.

My cats would LOVE to have a fish pond – especially if toads came with it as well – but, as I have only recently had the lawns re-turfed, I am afraid that they will have to do without. However, they have great fun playing with the huge moths I get around the house. Mia & Claude carry them inside very carefully (alive) and then let them go so that they can play with them. If they get as far as the bedroom, it sounds as if there’s a helicopter flying around the room, as they have a wingspan of about 4 inches! Yikes! 🙂

I hope that all of you at BCW have a lovely day today. x

    1. Thank you, Heather!

Yes, it is a shame Lula is so adventurous, we used to have great fun running around the field… But mummy and daddy are going to make our enclosure a real haven and fun environment for us with lots of different grasses and plants that attract bugs for us to chase. Plus we’ll have an indoor activity centre once the garage has been cleaned out. 😀 We will still enjoy ourselves, just in a different way!

Those moths sound pawsome!!! I wish we had those here to play with 🙂

I hope you have a lovely weekend xxx
