Who’s the intruder?

Hello my friends, Spot here!

I hope you’re all OK? Lula and I have been able to play quite a lot in our cat garden recently – we’ve also been supervising our daddy as he’s doing a few alterations to the area around the entrance. We’re not sure what he’s doing but there’s lots of huffing and puffing and hard work involved… I don’t think cats were designed for doing hard work, so we’re content just to watch and make sure he does whatever it is he’s doing in the right way πŸ˜†

But earlier on today, I was sitting having a nibble on my favourite grass, when I heard Lula behind me, making a commotion! She’s like that, my sister, she can be very loud when she wants to be….

Nibble…yummy!

So I had to interrupt my nibbling to find out what she was making all the noise for!

What’s going on, Lula?

Lula was by the fence and miaowing at someone who was trying to invade our garden!

Intruder alert!

She said she would climb up the fence to get a closer view!

But I told her I was the man and I would do it… but guess who I saw when I got to the top?

Oh, it’s only Robbie!

Lula was waiting at the bottom for an update

I called down to her and said it was nothing to worry about as it was only Robbie

It’s only Robbie, Lula!

So after all that excitement, I then went back to supervising my daddy πŸ™‚

Phew! Quite a lot of excitement for one day! I think I’m about ready for a catnap πŸ™‚

Take care my friends!

Love from Spot

    1. Thanks very much, Paula! I’m glad we can brighten your day in our own little way πŸ˜€ πŸ˜› xx

  3. Spot, I love the adventures that you and Lula have. I bet you are the best supervisor that daddy has ever had! I can see you pay attention to details. I bet Robbie just wanted to visit and see what you and Lula were doing in your garden. Looks like you had a lovely time outside.

    1. Thank you, Wilda! Yes, my daddy says he wouldn’t be able to work half as well if I wasn’t there to supervise 😯 xx

  4. Oh jeeez Spot, how exciting! I can understand that you as the man had to check out who the intruder was, everything to protect your lovely sister ❗ You make the text to all the pictures so good also that itΒ΄s really interesting to see “whoΒ΄s there” πŸ˜† . Really lovely pics, could it be daddy thatΒ΄s had his camera handy during all of this ❓ Love all the pics, tell daddy heΒ΄s good at this and let him keep on taking pics of you all lovely friends πŸ˜€

    1. Thanks, Elisabeth! Actually it was my mummy who took these pics as my daddy was doing whatever work it was he was doing that I was supervising πŸ˜€ 😎 xx

      1. Oh dear is mummy also such a good photographer??? Gush your daddy have to be careful so mummy doesnΒ΄t take the work away from him πŸ˜† . Did you find out what daddy is working with?

        1. My mummy isn’t as good as my daddy, Elisabeth, but she likes to try πŸ™‚ Daddy was laying some paving slabs, so it was quite boring really, but he said he has more work to do! πŸ™‚ xx

          1. DonΒ΄t tell mummy that you think daddy is a better photographer. She might get sad to hear that. Let that stay a secret between you and me πŸ˜‰

  5. What a gentleman you are Spot πŸ™‚ Looking out for your sister, what a good boy. Love the photos of you, Lula and Robbie. πŸ™‚

  6. An excellent adventure…because you didn’t need to leave your cat garden! You two are so beautiful πŸ™‚
Give my love to the moggies too *head bonks*

    1. Thank you, June! We do like it in our cat garden really, it’s just quite a lot of fun to try and escape now and again πŸ™‚

      1. I guess you must keep your mind up to date all the time so you donΒ΄t get lazy  . This is why you always have to think about new ways to escape and of course itΒ΄s so interesting to see if it works πŸ˜€

  7. Lula wasn’t all “fluffed up” as she would have been had it been a real intruder, so I think she was just swearing at Robbie because he was on top of the fence – on the outside!

Sorry Spot, I think Lula just let you do the climbing to the top as she already knew that she couldn’t get out that way! She’s very funny though! πŸ˜†

I’m sure Daddy did an excellent job under your supervision – have you worked out exactly what he was doing near the entrance as yet? πŸ’‘

    Heather x x

    1. Thanks Heather! I think you’re right! I’d not thought of it like that, silly me πŸ™„ He has been laying some paving slabs near our entrance to make it look neater  xx

  8. Such a cute story, Spot! Always the protector, are ya, that you had to climb the fence to keep Lula safe πŸ˜€ I’m sure you get tired, as well, from watching Daddy do all that hard work πŸ˜† Can’t wait to see what it is he’s been working on! Take care Spot, and everyone at BCW <3

    1. Thanks Lisa! Daddy’s work is quite boring at the moment, just some slabs, though he said that he still has some other things to do! πŸ˜‰ xx

  9. You’ve definitely had a very busy day Spot & I think the catnip is well deserved πŸ˜† xxxxx

  10. You gave me a much-needed laugh! Looks like a nice day for a change! You are all so beautiful, you too, Daddy! πŸ˜›

    1. Thanks, Carol! We know you’re going through a tough time at the moment and we hope you are OK <3 xxx

  11. Whew! What an adventurous day! It was very nice of you Spot to check things out for your sister to make sure neither of you were in danger. I really think you really should write a book including your daddy’s wonderful photos. You must be tired after such a day. Did Robbie ever make it into your garden? Love all of you! Your friend, Linda

    1. Thanks, Linda! I might consider a book perhaps πŸ™‚ Robbie comes into our garden now and again though he didn’t on this occasion – he normally goes through the gate πŸ™‚ He likes it in there for a while as he likes nibbling on our grasses, but he soon asks to be let out again πŸ˜‰ xx
