Hello my friends, Spot here!

 

We’ve had such a great day today, we’ve been playing with my feathers in the garden! My Da Bird feathers are absolutely definitely my most favourite toy out the many toys I have!

 

In fact, it is such a favourite, that when my hoomins aren’t playing them with me, they have to be kept away in the cupboard so there’s no danger of me hurting myself with the string. All that means, though, is that I sit by the cupboard door and stare intently at my mummy or daddy whenever they look at me so they’ll feel guilty and get the feathers out for a game!

 

Today mummy and daddy took the feathers outside in our cat garden so we would have lots of room to play and I even let Lula join in for a little while! That was until she started taking over, so I had to push her out of the way so I could play with them again… sisters, eh? 🙂

 

 

 

 

 

 

Phew! I’m worn out now 😉 I hope you have all enjoyed your weekend as much as we have!

Hello my friends, Spot here!

 

We’ve had quite a nice weekend, weather-wise (until just now when it started to rain!). It’s meant we’ve been able to make the most of our garden, in particular the cat mint that daddy planted for us! 🙂

 

We love squashing the cat mint down and then rolling in it until our fur smells of nothing else! Hello my friends, Spot here!

 

I hope you are all well, my friends 🙂 Lula and I have had a lazy week because it’s been so wet, so we’ve not managed to get outside as much as we’d like 🙁 Plus of course, the nights are drawing in now and getting much chillier, so this cuts down on our play time outside even more!

 

At this time of year and in winter, we like to keep warm at night by sleeping in our big bed that daddy bought for us. When it gets really cold, mummy has a heat pad that she heats for a few minutes in the microwave, then it stays warm for 10 hours! She puts it in our bed for us, but we often let Friday sleep on it as she’s a lot older than us and needs her warmth 🙂

 

But the one downside of all this, is that the bed is so comfy that I don’t want to leave it, and when Lula decides it’s time for me to have a wash, it’s easier to let her get on with it than argue back at her 😆 Here she is in action!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Phew! I feel very clean now and ready for a sleep! 🙂

Hello my friends, Spot here 🙂

 

Ooohhh! We’ve got such bad weather in the UK at the moment, we’re back to non-stop rain according to the weather pawcast!  We don’t mind getting a little bit wet, but all the bugs seem to hide during the actual rain, so there’s not much to chase!

 

Because of the weather, we’ve not been outside an awful lot today so I took the opportunity to look through the photo archives with my mummy! My mummy and daddy take lots of pics, but don’t necessarily publish them all as we don’t want to overdo it! 😆

 

Mummy and I picked out our favourite ones and thought we’d share them with you here 🙂

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ahhh…. these bring back lots of memories of when we were allowed access to the great outdoors and not just in our own garden 🙂  Oh well, at least mummy and daddy are reassured that we’re safe now 😉

I hope you are all ok and not having too bad a start to the working week 🙂

 

If you follow my Facebook/Twitter pages, you may have seen that I promised to give you more info about a photo competition that we won! It was run by the Oxford Cat Clinic (https://www.merialvetsite.com/sites/oxfordcat/home.html) and it was based on an Olympics theme 🙂

 

So they had 4 cat-egories you could enter which were:

• Best Athlete
• Best Teamwork
• Best Mascot
• Best Rest & Recuperation

 

You could enter up to three photos, so mummy entered two in teamwork and one in athlete, which were these ones:

The great news is that the pic of me & Lula together won the Teamwork cat-egory and the pic of me doing the high jump won the Athlete cat-egory! But the best news of all was that the Athlete photo was chosen to be the overall winner 😆

 

Mummy won’t have to go shopping for us for a while as we won a year’s supply of cat food, some more cat food, a year’s supply of flea treatment, a year’s supply of worming treatment and other bits and bobs!

Hello my friends, Spot here!

 

I’ve got a little confession to make… I’ve been quite naughty recently and my mummy said I was in the dog house! I’m not sure where that is as we haven’t even got a dog, let alone a house for one 😆 So I think my mummy is perhaps going a little mad…

 

But we have got a cat house in our enclosure! It’s actually a rabbit hutch which has been adapted for us and it’s just purrfect!
