Winter is on its way!

Hello my friends, Spot here!

We’ve heard about some terrible weather that our US friends have been experiencing recently, we hope you’re all ok <3 We’ve had pretty mild weather for the time of year here in our World, although it has been quite grey most days. But we’ve heard that cold winter weather is on its way and Lula couldn’t be happier! She loves to play in the snow as you can see here in our video from YouTube!

Of course, the pesky kittens were born at Easter time, so they’ve not seen any snow, I wonder what they will make of it? They probably won’t mind it – they’ve been playing in the bathtub today with their robo fish, we shared a video of that on our Facebook page 🙂

But to whet their appetite even further, we’ve been showing them some of our snow photos, just so they can see what it’s like 🙂 These are from a couple of years ago as we didn’t get any snow at all last winter. We thought it would be nice to share them with you too! 🙂

Lula’s contemplating a bit of fishing? Or ice skating maybe?

I’m sure there’s nothing under there that’s interesting …

… but Lula still loves to check things out anyway!

It’s nice to find a green patch once the snow starts to melt

Sometimes it’s better to look at the snow from the warm indoors

Even Lula likes to come in now and again!

Now they’ve seen these photos, Spike and Annie say they can’t wait for the snow to arrive! They’re hoping it will come soon now December is almost here! 🙂 We’ll just have to wait and see I suppose! 🙂

Take care my friends!

Love from Spot

  1. I hope Lula gets her wish, but we don’t really need any here until much closer to Christmas! I bet the little twins will have a blast after the first snowfall. Great pics as always Spot ♥♥♥

  2. I’m more like you Spotty cat, I don’t mind looking at it out the window but I’m not so keen going out in it, and shovelling snow holds no interest either, too much like hard work lol. Loved seeing all the photos of you and Lula playing in the snow, Loki didn’t mind it if it wasn’t too deep but didn’t like sinking into it, he wasn’t a very big cat! It’ll be interesting to see what the terrible twins make of it, if it arrives which I’m still hoping it doesn’t 🙁 If I get snowed in do you think Lula would come and dig me out? xx <3 <3 <3 <3

    1. Awww…. bless little Loki <3 <3
Lula said she will be much too busy building snowcats to go visiting anyone, Edna. She likes to make the most of every moment of the snow! 😆 xxx

  3. Adorable, of course! Hope you get some snow this winter, Spot. You and Lula can introduce the babies to it, can only imagine how cute that will be. ❤️

  4. Our two rascals will never get the chance to even see snow from the window when Winter comes round again. Meanwhile we’ve got to get through a Summer that is forecast to be a scorcher.. Yesterday was a stinker, humid and 32C/90F and it’s far too early when 1st December is officially the start of Summer.
It will be nice to see how the babes cope with the snow and I hope you don’t get too much.

  5. Now than Annie & Spike have seen those pictures, I bet they will love the real thing!! We, in NH, got about a foot of that white stuff. It was sooo heavy it knocked out our power for 2 whole days. Thanks to our bengals, Aja & Xena, for helping keep us warm!

    1. oooh dear, Linda! I hope you were all ok. We do like our creature comforts, it’s horrible when the power gets knocked out 🙁

  6. Oh Spot I think Annie and Spike will wonder to begin with, what that white stuff is and since it feels so cold and wet… 😯 Mirrin and Selmin was wondering if they could walk on that, the first time they saw the snow… But then they noticed that was something fun, so they run off in it 😆 😆 😆

  7. I’ve always loved the video of Lula in the snow, and I’m sure little Annie will be every bit as gorgeous when she first meets it :D. But there’s nothing more heartwarming than a sleepy kitten dozing in the warm by a window, watching the snow fall :).
