Hello my friends, Spot here!
I hope you’re all well, and have had some nice pancakes if you commemorate Shrove Tuesday. I decided I didn’t want any because my daddy said that my favourite chicken treats wouldn’t taste very nice with them, and I don’t like the things you hoomins have with yours… so I just had the treats and left the pancakes for my mummy and daddy! 🙂
You may recall that we recently had a little competition on our Facebook page which was to name our furry prawn toy! The winner was Gordon from Germany who thought of the fantastic name, “Audrey Heprawn”! He won his very own prawn, donated by the lovely Tan who runs the Purrs in our Hearts website that sells them, plus a Bengal Cat World print. We also awarded prints to Nicola who came 2nd, Gill who came third and Natasha who won a special prize for her suggestions to the running of the competition 🙂
They could choose which one of us they wanted a print of, with Audrey Heprawn of course, and two of them chose me and two chose Lula! Very even 😉 So what I thought I’d do is let you have a look at the photos that we sent to them! 🙂 I hope you like them 🙂
We thought it was great fun running the competition, and we’ve also loved our current Valentine one – I hope you like them too! If you have any suggestions for future competitions , just let us know – we’d love to get your input 😀 xxx
Take care my friends!
Love from Spot xxxxx
Awww Spot, both you and Lula are soooooooooooooooo lovely together with Audrey Heprawn! You are just amazing. Here in Finland we don´t eat pancakes this Tuesday, instead it´s bunnies with “almond cream”. It´s a paste with almondtaste and then whipped cream on it. Today Jonny and I took a bunny each and then Mirrin wanted to taste, so I gave him a bit of the whipped cream. He was licking that and thought it was so good. Just couldn´t understand why there wasn´t more of it :). Anyway now I gotta go to bed, so nitenite my dear friends <3 <3 <3
Thank you for letting us know about what you do in Finland, it is always so interesting to hear what happens elsewhere! 🙂 Night night to you, Jonny, Selmin and Mirrin! Sweet dreams xxxxx
Love the “cuddle pic’ Spot. <3
Thank you! I like that one too, Jacqui – I think my daddy captured just the right moment 🙂 xx
Spot, you and Lula are totally adorable. If I didn’t already have 8 cats I’d be out looking to get myself a Bengal or two! xoxoxo
Thanks, June! Well… if you have 8 already, what’s another one or two?! 😀 xxx
Awww. I love both pictures. You are just the best photographed kitties in the whole wide world.
Thanks, Paula! We are quite good at modelling for our daddy, though we don’t always do everything he wants us to… such as keeping still! MOL! 🙂 xxx
I have gone all ‘squidgy’ inside again looking at these pictures! Those faces and eyes! Love you both!
Love you too, Carol! Thank you! 😀 xxx
What a wonderful competition it was, young Spot! Had I won (which, of course, could only have happened had I entered the competition), it would have been impossible to choose between the lovely photos :D. So glad it was all a success, although I’m not in the least bit surprised – you run such a wonderful page!
Thank you, John 🙂 I think Newt and Henry would have liked playing with a furry prawn 🙂 xx
I suspect they’ll be getting a couple for their birthday in May, Spot :D. They look like a wonderful toy :).
Oooh! Our birthday is in May too! Great month for a birthday! 🙂 xxx
I have to agree with John Laidlaw…if I had entered and won, I wouldn’t know who to pick for the picture. You are both so fantastic. I love seeing you cuddle with Audrey, it looks like you have such fun with her, but Lula’s eyes capture my attention every time! It is always great to see the great pictures of you and Lula. Perhaps a contest for St Patrick’s Day?
Ooooh! Wilda! That is definitely one for us to consider! Thank you! 🙂 xxx
Such gorgeous photos of you and Lula with the furry prawn Spot. I like yours best Spot cuddling Audrey xxx
Many thanks, Izzy! I’m so pleased Anyah got her very own Priscilla prawn 🙂 xxx
