Bengal babies: best buddies!

Hello my friends, Spot here!

I’m often asked if Bengals get on with other kitties, and in our experience the answer is definitely yes! And I’m not necessarily just referring to cats of the same breed; Bengals are sociable and friendly souls if you make sure you buy a well-socialised kitten from a reputable breeder. So we don’t mind who we play with!

There are of course some steps you need to take to settle your new kitty into your home to ensure they are comfortable and you should always take introductions of two kitties slowly and patiently if you’re welcoming a new kitty into an existing cat’s territory, but after a while great friendships can be formed and long-lasting 🙂

Of course, the easiest way to make sure your kitties get on with each other is to buy or adopt litter mates! As long as they’ve not been separated for any significant length of time, introductions won’t be needed! Here’s Spike and Annie, showing what we mean!

  1. Furrever friends ♡♡♡ I really look forward to your blogs Spotty cat. So glad you’ve all accepted those two pesky kittens (even Robbie) Love you all ♡♡♡

  2. What a brilliant blog you’ve written Spotty cat and such gorgeous photos of the pesky kittens. You really have been so good welcoming those babies into your home, playing with them and showing them how to get into trouble (oops I meant showing them the ropes!) And Robbie’s been good too, in fact I can’t fault any of you, do you think the peskies were accepted so quickly because they’re your and Lula’s half brother and sister? You’ve been a very good boy and I think you deserve some chicken treats, what do you say to that Spotty one xx <3 <3

    1. I think that sounds lovely, Edna 🙂 Any excuse for some nice chicken treats  I think the two little ones were accepted because we are all good boys and girls 🙂

  3. Thanks Spot, for sharing these lovely pics with us. The babes certainly have settled in so very well. They are getting really cheeky though in taking over one of Lula’s favourite spots in the hammock, guess Dad might have to add another feature or two to accommodate the four of you in your lovely garden. Wonder what new idea he’ll come up with next ?

  4. Thank you for showing all these lovely photos to us! 😀 Looks like Annie and Spike have found their place along with you Spot and with all the others in your house <3 Well now I´m on my way to bed so Good Night Sleep Tight Sweet Dreams! <3 😀

  5. didn’t get this post either. . . 😳 🙁

Annie & Spike are doing very well, I see!! I;m sure they are fitting in quite well with your ‘clan’, just as Meesha is fitting in with my clan as well. . . 😉

love and prayers to all at BCW — including Mommy & Daddy!!! keep the lovely posts coming!!! ♥♥♥♥♥

    1. We’re so pleased Meesha is settling in 🙂 Annie and Spike are very settled here in our World 🙂 <3 <3

  6. I’m impressed, I need to say. Really rarely do I encounter a blog that’s both educative and entertaining, and let me tell you, you’ve hit the nail on the head. Your thought is outstanding; the difficulty is something that not sufficient individuals are talking intelligently about. I am very glad that I stumbled throughout this in my seek for one thing regarding this.
