Hello my friends, Spot here!
Well, it’s certainly been an eventful week! Spike and Annie are now purrfectly at home and have had many new adventures in such a short space of time!
The weather has been beautiful, very warm for this time of year, which has meant lots of play time in the cat garden!
They also discovered the joys of my favourite toy, Dave the Dragonfly
We had wonderful gifts from our friends at Butterfly Cat Jackets, which means we can all take the hoomins for a walk once the babies are old enough π
They found lots of places to rest their weary paws…
We’re often asked how the existing cats get on with the two newbies, so here’s a quick summary:
Friday: Accepted them both straight away without batting an eyelid! She has seen it all before!
Harry: He is seen it all before too, though he’s not quite as accepting as Friday – he took a little bit longer, but now pretty much accepts them. Apart from when they try and steal his food! He does love his food, does our Harry.
Robbie: As we expected, he is going to take a while to accept them. He’s still in the hissing and growling phase… things will get better, hopefully sooner rather than later π
Lula: She’s a bit like Harry. She’s ok with them, as long as they’re not too much in her face or trying to steal her food.
Me? I am a good boy. I was a little bit growly and hissy at first, but now I think they’re ok and I even like to play with them! π I quite like their kitten food too – I like to steal it when mummy isn’t looking π
So I suppose you’re wondering what our fantastic surprise is? Well…. yesterday, my mummy and daddy went to a cat show (without any cats, silly people – what was the point in that??) and when they came back, they had lots of big boxes…. they had only gone and bought us another Tigga Towers cat tree, to put in the conservatory! Needless to say, we all love it! π Here’s some pics! π
So I’ve now decided my mummy and daddy are quite nice people and I might even give them extra cuddles! π
Take care my friends!
Love from Spot

Annie and Spike were at home straight away on the tree, Vicky – Spike even got to the top bunk before I could π― π― Thanks for your lovely comments π π xxx
I just love that tired out kitty picture! You’ve been a very good boy this week Spot, accepting the kittens so quickly and even playing with them. I’d give you extra chicken treats if I were there!! π
I’ve had lots of nice treats this week, June – my favourite chicken ones, and some other ones with chicken and cheese π I see now why the chicken ones are my favourite! π π xxx
Wow, that’s a really wonderful surprise. Your hoomans do really spoil you kitties. Plenty of perching choices now , so no excuse for squabbling. Pleased to hear how well the babies are fitting into the clan and they seem to be growing so very fast. It’s been so nice to see all the garden pictures and the weather has been pretty good too , so you’ve been able to get plenty of outdoor time.
Yes, that’s why they got the tree and had it designed with all the perches, Mavis – we can all sit and watch the world go by outside in great comfort! π We are very spoiled indeed π xxx
great pics Spot of the 2 new kittens π am looking forward to seeing Annie and Spike with you and Lula @ shows, when they are a little older π
Lula, Spike and Annie are going to The Pet Show next weekend, Paul! π It’s not a competitive show, they will be on exhibition and talking to all the people who come to the show to see them π I am taking a break from showing – my mummy is retiring me for now. I may compete again, but not for quite a while π π xxx
Spot, what a lovely post!!! The kittens are fitting right in, and they are sooooo cute!!! π Annie is really cute in her jacket from Butterfly Cat Jackets >>> love the little pink and blue blankies too!!! So nice of Mommy and Daddy to get all of you another tower to climb/sleep on. . . Sounds like everyone is beginning to get along. I just rescued another kitty from the street (obviously dumped) the beginning of the month. My little family is back up to 12 again. Meesha is fitting in quite well. We still have the occasional hiss with the girls mainly, but other than that, all is fine in our kitty world.
I am getting your new posts again — yay!!! Have to get my BCW fix!!!! Keep the wonderful posts of all of you coming!!! LOVE them and all of you at BCW!!! β₯β₯β₯β₯β₯

Ah so glad to see you kept John busy on Saturday ;o) Lovely to see your uniquely designed tower on display and glad the cats are happy having fun too :o)
Hello Sam! Thanks for stopping by! John was very busy on Caturday, my mummy says it was a good job he had that lovely fan as it was so hot in the show hall, she wouldn’t have liked to have been assembling cat towers all day π There were lots of people buying them, though – not surprising as they are such a great quality product! π Thank you for bringing such fabulous products to us! π xxx
Oh you really got a lovely surprise π . You are all so good in accepting your new brother and sister. Hope you will have fun playing with them also! <3 Tell mummy (or is it daddy this time) that I really love all the pics! <3
The pic of Annie in her cat jacket was taken by mummy, Edna – all the others were by daddy! π And thank you! Love you lots <3 xxxx
